CITY OF HUDSON COMMON COUNCIL

SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES OF MAY 22, 2006

Meeting called to order by Mayor Jack Breault in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 8:02 a.m.

PRESENT: Mayor Breault, Alderpersons Randy Morrissette, Dennis O’Connell, Lee Wyland, and Scot O’Malley.

ABSENT: Paul Radermacher, Carah Koch.

OTHERS PRESENT: Devin Willi.

RECOMMENDATION FROM FINANCE COMMITTEE FOR HIRING PART-TIME IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR: Mayor Breault announced the Finance Committee and City Administrator’s recommendation for the part-time IT Systems Administrator position.

MOTION by O’Malley, second by Wyland, to hire Michael Kruger for the part-time IT Systems Administrator position. Discussion included information that a list of immediate priorities was provided by Betty Caruso, which will be shared with Council. He is also to assess needs on his own. It was noted there is money in the budget for some equipment, (i.e. thumb drive, hardware, laptop computer).

MOTION amended by O’Malley, second by Wyland, to include hiring at $35,000 per year, with pro-rated benefits. MOTION CARRIED, all ayes (4).

MOTION by O’Malley, second by O’Connell, to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:06 a.m. MOTION CARRIED.
